Last summer, the Kalmarsund festival premiered through streamed concerts.

A collaboration between Länsmusiken in Kalmar County and Öland Chamber Players.

This year's program, which is a follow-up, is aimed at all ages and reaches audiences throughout the county, according to a press release from the county music in Kalmar.

Meet their audience physically

Thanks to eased restrictions and collaborations with other actors, an extensive program with more than 20 concerts has been created in a short time.

The audience can choose between family concerts, outdoor concerts as well as solo performances and classical concerts indoors.

Almost everyone has free admission.

Four Seasons

The festival begins on Sunday 11 July and runs until 6 August throughout Kalmar County.

In conclusion, Camerata Nordica, together with soloist Colin Scobie, presents Vivaldi's four seasons outdoors on Gränsö, in Oskarshamn and at Borgholm's castle.

- With the festival, we hope to be able to offer everyone in the region recurring music experiences that can hopefully be developed together with the festival.

Despite the fact that the pandemic is not over and that we still have restrictions, we look forward to meeting our audience after many months.
