Annika Grimberg is a store employee at Coop in Getinge outside Halmstad.

On Saturday, they had to keep the store closed, just like hundreds of others around the country.

- Now on Sunday we have been open, but people can only pay with the scan and pay app.

The entire cash register system is down, she explains when SVT Nyheter Halland calls.

During the day, she and her colleagues have been able to show customers how to download and use the app.

- They are understanding.

You can not do much else, she says.

During a tour of other Coop stores in the county, most people seem to be in the same situation.

Stora Coop in Varberg is one of a few where customers can pay as usual.

- They have a different cash register system, so they have not been affected by the IT attack, says Kevin Bell, press secretary at Coop.

When do you think it will be as usual again in other stores?

-

Difficult to answer at the moment.

It's great that we have started some stores with the app.

We will continue to work during the evening and night to solve it,

In the clip, you hear Coop's press spokesperson comment on the IT attack.
