Xavier Bertrand is progressing and remains the best placed on the right for the 2022 presidential election against Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron, both still largely in the lead in voting intentions, according to an Ifop-Fiducial poll for LCI and Le Figaro published on Sunday evening.

According to this survey, the first round would be clearly dominated by Marine Le Pen (26%) and Emmanuel Macron (24 to 28%), regardless of the candidate on the right.

If it is the former LR Xavier Bertrand, who has already declared his candidacy for the Elysee Palace, the president of Hauts-de-France would collect 18% of the vote (+2 compared to May), behind Emmanuel Macron (24 %, -1) and Marine Le Pen (26%, -1).

Valérie Pécresse, president (ex-LR, Libres!) Of Ile-de-France would collect 14% (+4).

In this case, Emmanuel Macron would be tied with Marine Le Pen (26%).

Finally, Laurent Wauquiez, also largely reelected during the recent regional in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, would collect 13% of the votes (+5).

In this hypothesis, Emmanuel Macron would be ahead of Marine Le Pen (28% against 26%).

On the left, Yannick Jadot (EELV), Anne Hidalgo (PS) and Jean-Luc Mélenchon (LFI), in very sharp decline, would collect between 6 and 7.5% if all three were present on the starting line of the first round .

In the second round, Emmanuel Macron would win largely against Marine Le Pen: 57% (+3) against 43% (-3).

But the head of state, who has not yet declared his candidacy, would bow to Xavier Bertrand by 52% against 48%.

The president of Hauts-de-France would also win ahead of Marine Le Pen (61% against 39%).

Survey carried out by self-administered online questionnaire from June 29 to July 2 with a sample of 1,337 people registered on the electoral rolls, taken from a sample of 1,500 people, representative of the French population aged 18 and over.

Margin of error of 1.4 to 3.1%.
