The "Abu Dhabi Prosecution" had received a complaint from the victim company, about the spread of the video clip on social media, after the accused appeared to destroy materials that the company had placed inside one of its facilities to serve its customers.

The video also showed the company's logo, which it considered defamation of one of its facilities, noting that it was able, through surveillance cameras, to determine the location and time of the incident and the specifications of the accused's car.

The Public Prosecution indicated that the accused showed ostentatious behavior during the video by destroying materials owned by a government company, which could encourage others to these irresponsible behaviors, which show recklessness and disrespect for public property.

She added that the Federal Penal Code stipulates that whoever destroys or damages property owned by others, whether immovable or movable, and renders it unusable or disrupted in any way, shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding 10,000 dirhams, or by one of these two penalties. .

The Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes also stipulates that it is an aggravating circumstance to use the information network, the Internet, or any information technology means, when committing a crime.
