Putin signed a law on the creation of a unified system for accounting for advertising on the Internet

The document was published on the official portal of legal information.

The system is designed to automate the collection and processing of information about advertising posted on the Internet, as well as accounting, storage and access to this data.

It is proposed to give the appropriate powers to Roskomnadzor from September 1, 2022.

What kind of information will be included in the system will be determined by the government, however, according to the law, the obligation to post information about advertising does not apply to operators of social advertising.

A special commission created by Roskomnadzor will select operators of advertising data.

Earlier, the head of the Institute for Social Research and Development of Civil Initiatives Maxim Petunin came up with an initiative to equate bookmakers with casinos and limit the right of these organizations to accept bets online.
