At least 43 people are missing after the wreck off the coast of Tunisia of a boat
carrying 127 migrants

"84 migrants were rescued and 43 disappeared after a ship carrying 127 migrants sank off Zarzis (south)," the director of the local office of the Tunisian Red Crescent, Mongi Slim, told AFP.
The boat
sailed from the Libyan coast

A statement from the Tunisian Ministry of Defense indicated that the Navy had saved "84 clandestine immigrants of different nationalities", such as Bangladesh, Sudan, Eritrea, Egypt or Chad, on the night from Friday to Saturday.
