Moving through the suspended photographs, visitors are lulled to music by Jean-Michel Jarre, composed of sounds of the forest - animal cries, wind noises, songs and traditional instruments in particular.

Both artists are very committed individually and through their arts in the preservation of the environment.

Sebastião Salgado and his wife Lelia Wanick, scenographer of the exhibition, created the Instituto Terra and replanted nearly 3 million trees in the Atlantic Forest in Brazil.

Jean-Michel Jarre, Unesco Goodwill Ambassador, has always raised questions of nature and the preservation of the environment in his music, regularly using natural sounds for his compositions.

In 2006, in Merzouga, he notably gave a concert, "Water for life" to warn about the lack of water in the world.

The exhibition is visible at the Philharmonie de Paris until October 31, 2021. It will then hit the road for London, Roma, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
