At lunchtime, police across the country held a minute of silence for the employee in his 30s who was shot dead in Biskopsgården in Gothenburg during the night towards Thursday.

The shooting has provoked strong reactions from residents in the area as well as politicians, but perhaps above all within the police force.

When the police's press spokesperson Christer Fuxborg reported on the investigation situation in Rapport, he was noticeably affected by the incident.

- I have worked as a police officer for 40 years.

This is the toughest day so far, he said.
