01 July 2021 An explosion occurred inside the police commissioner of Castellammare di Stabia (Naples).
The explosion could have been caused by a faulty boiler or, according to other hypotheses, by the outbreak of fireworks seized and stored in a warehouse.
Rescuers are carrying out checks to ascertain the presence of injured or victims.
At the moment there are no injuries and the causes of the explosion are being investigated.
The road is closed to vehicular traffic and the roar was heard throughout the city and neighboring municipalities.
