appearance of microplastics embedded in deep-fried fish meat from frozen food was revealed and it is shocking.
This is a video that an Australian scientist recently posted on social media.
Frozen food fish fingers cut into sticks and fried are sliced thinly and observed under a microscope, and thin thread-like objects can be seen between the fish meat.
It's microplastics.
The discarded plastic is broken down to less than 5mm over a long period of time, and the scientist who uploaded the video warned that 'If you eat fried fish, you will eventually eat microplastics as well'.
He continued, "Microplastics not only cause toxicity problems, but the fact that they are ingested undecomposed and exist in our body itself is a problem," he said. We can't guarantee that all the fried fish will have microplastics as in the video,' he added.
