Today (1st) it has been just one month since the Ministry of National Defense took over the case of sexual assault and death from the Air Force and started an investigation.

Sergeant A's husband, who watched the incident right next to Sergeant A, who was the victim after the assault on March 2nd, revealed her feelings to SBS.

Sergeant A's husband said that Sergeant A's will to continue working was firm, although he first suggested that his wife, who was struggling after being sexually assaulted, take a leave of absence.

“I am the victim, so why do I have to keep hiding?” and “I will move the unit and work with new people.” Sergeant A requested a special transfer from the 20th Squadron, where the sexual harassment case took place, to the 15th Wing.

However, Sergeant A suffered from secondary persecution such as disseminating the facts of damage even in the 15th Wing, and made an extreme choice within 3 days of moving the unit, Sergeant A's husband explained the situation at the time.

Sergeant A's husband said, "Sergeant A went to the 15th Squadron with hope, but in the end, the only thing he felt was frustration."

The Joint Investigation Team of the Ministry of National Defense has criminally booked and continues the investigation of four officials of the 15th Wing, who are suspected of secondary harm, such as disseminating the facts of damage.

In an interview with SBS, Sergeant A's husband emphasized that the most important thing is to restore the honor of the deceased and implement justice through punishment of the perpetrators.
