Already a legal liability

The local newspaper recalls that before arriving in the country, Johnson A. had some legal setbacks in Italy before being the subject of an administrative deportation order.

In France, his asylum application had expired and he had already been arrested, in a state of intoxication, for acts relating to the defense of terrorism, before being released for an insufficiently characterized offense.

The defendant's lawyer, Me Laurent Terrazzoni, had called for medical, “psychological, even psychiatric” follow-up, “more useful than a prison sentence” for his client.

The report of an expert, produced in court, affirms that the latter did not present mental disorders and was accessible to a criminal conviction.
