According to RT sources in law enforcement agencies, on November 14, 2017, the investigative unit to investigate organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg opened a criminal case under Article 5 of Art.

128.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Slander".

Badanin, who took part in the preparation of the plot, was a witness at the time of the initiation of the criminal case.

Also the employees of "Dozhd" who took part in the filming of the film became witnesses in the case.
