It is noted that "the topic of hybrid impacts on Russia and Belarus, countermeasures to attempts to interfere from outside in the internal affairs of sovereign states were discussed in detail."
"An exchange of views took place on topical issues of international security, including on the issues of the Open Skies Treaty, the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons, and Biological Security," TASS reports.
The ministry added that "the consultations that took place demonstrated the similarity of assessments on the most pressing problems and made it possible to develop proposals for joint steps to resolve them."
Earlier it was reported that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held talks with Patrushev.
