According to a report by the Japan Broadcasting Association Television Station on June 27, data show that 139 vaccination accidents have been reported in various regions throughout Japan, and 70 are "major accidents."

Among them, there were 31 errors in the interval between two vaccination, 23 inoculation accidents that could cause blood infection, 13 inoculation dose errors, and 2 out-of-date vaccines.

It is particularly noteworthy that during the vaccination process, the syringe was repeatedly used.

Japan launched the new crown vaccination in February, first targeting health care workers, and in April it was extended to elderly people 65 years of age and older. Recently, it was opened to people under 65 years of age.

Although Japan has accelerated the rate of new crown vaccination, the rate of vaccination is much lower than that of other countries with comparable developed levels.

Regarding the maximum number of vaccines that Japan can receive in a single day, Taro Kono, the minister in charge of administrative reform that coordinates vaccination matters, recently said that the 1.5 million doses are close to the "limit."
