Recently, the Katsura River in Kyoto City, Japan is full of plastic bottles, paper plates and dinner plates and other garbage scattered around.

Since the new crown pneumonia epidemic was launched in late April, a large number of tourists who have ignored the epidemic prevention order have flooded into the Katsura River in Kyoto City. They gathered on the riverside to barbecue, not only disturbing the surrounding residents, but also leaving a lot of garbage.

At the end of April, before the emergency started, the bureau responsible for managing the Guichuan River set up a fence along the Guichuan River, asking tourists not to go to the riverside to barbecue, but many people still ignored this ban.

The authority said that in one day in mid-May, they collected a large amount of garbage by the river, filled with 20 garbage bags with a capacity of 45 liters.
