The department reported that "in connection with the complaints of citizens about the rise in prices for PCR tests and analyzes for antibodies to COVID-19, received by the antimonopoly authority, the FAS Russia has previously sent inquiries to medical organizations."

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that citizens are worried about the increase in the cost of PCR tests for coronavirus and the delay in the results.

He instructed the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, to keep the issue under control.
