It is a sizable exhibition for a small town like Grigny, which is also at the heart of the La Grande Borne district, which has a sulphurous reputation.

More than 200 works by street artist Banksy are exhibited there until July 10, at the Theater and Arts Workshops, free entry.

It is thanks to a passionate collector, François Berardino - alias “Beru” - actor and enlightened amateur, who discovered Banksy by chance in 2007, while going to play in London in a street theater festival.

He visits his studio without knowing who he is, and leaves with two drawings offered to him by the artist.

"A few months later, at a friend's house, I discovered

and I then understand who I met", explains the actor.

A nice gift for the Grande Borne, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and for the SOS Méditerranée association, which will reap the benefits of the sale of products derived from the exhibition.

“Banksy Humanity Collection”, from June 28 to July 10.

Theater and Arts workshops, opposite the Place du Damier (at the entrance to La Grande Borne), in Grigny.

Free entrance.
