On the west coast of the United States, from the Canadian border to the Mexican border, the government issued high temperature warnings to more than 20 million residents.

  In the next few days, the northwestern region of the United States will continue to experience unprecedented dangerous high temperatures. The high temperature in most areas will exceed 40°C. It is expected that many cities will break hundreds of daily high temperature records from the 27th to most of the next week.

Officials warned that prolonged extreme high temperature will significantly increase the incidence of high-temperature-related diseases, reminding residents to take precautions against the heat.
