June 27, 2021The first semester of the state reimbursement program for those who buy with cards and apps closes on June 30. There are therefore a few days left to accumulate purchases and reach the minimum threshold of 50 transactions that entitle you to 'cashback'.

According to the numbers of the

Io app

, there are 7.85 million users with valid transactions who will be entitled to a refund up to a maximum of 150 euros. Total transactions have been, up to now, for 720 million.

Of the more than 7 million users eligible for a refund, 5.89 million have 50+ transactions and another 1.95 million have between one and 49 card or app transactions.

To enter the ranking of the 100 thousand who will have the

Super Cashback

of 1500 euros, at the moment it is necessary to have made more than 689 transactions.

Considering the transaction amounts, the largest number of transactions is made for purchases between 25 and 50 euros (21.4%). The average receipt of those who buy by participating in the 'cashback' is € 35.60. Cards and apps are also used to pay for a coffee: 16.2% of transactions are in fact for amounts under 5 euros. The lower percentage of transactions is instead for large amounts: 0.84% concerns purchases over 300 euros.

The

'cashback' program has

three quarters until June 2022.

The

second half

starts on Thursday 1 July, with the same rules. Every six months you can get a maximum reimbursement of 150 euros (300 euros per year). The expenses recorded to access the prize have no limits on the amount, they only impose the use of cards or other digital payment instruments.

For each purchase, the taxpayer recovers 10% of the transaction value, up to a maximum of 15 euros for each individual transaction.
