On Monday 21 June, the Finnish Government announced that entry from the EU and the Schengen countries is permitted for persons who have received approved vaccination against covid-19 no later than 14 days before travel or persons who have confirmed covid-19 within the last six months.
This means that tourists can also go to Finland for a leisure trip.
Entry is also allowed for people traveling from EU and Schengen countries due to work.
For those who are unable to present a vaccine certificate or who are not on a business trip, Finland adheres to its previous entry restrictions.
These will continue until 11 July 2021 but can be extended.
