The villagers' wish has been that the Swedish Transport Administration should build a completed bypass Masugnsbyn despite Northland Resources going bankrupt.
The road has always been narrow and dangerous regardless of the ore transports.
- Instead of an emergency solution, you should have completed the road then.
The road did not get wider because the center line was removed and the roadside was created for pedestrians, says Rikard Lantto in Masugnsbyn.
He continues:
- It is hardly the case that two cars can meet.
You must always be prepared to jump in the drift.
