China News Service, June 20. On June 20, Ma Xiaoguang, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, used three "of course" to refute the DPP's remarks about Hong Kong in response to a reporter's question.

Question: On the 20th, the Taiwan Mainland Affairs Commission made a false attack on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s suspension of Hong Kong’s offices in Taiwan. What’s your comment?

Answer: Regarding the suspension of the operation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government's institutions in Taiwan, the Special Administrative Region government has stated its solemn position.

The exchanges between the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and the Taiwan Region of China must of course be carried out on the political basis of the one-China principle. Of course, Taiwanese organizations in Hong Kong must abide by the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and relevant laws, and of course, they must not violate the one-China principle.

We firmly support the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in handling Taiwan-related affairs in accordance with the Basic Law and the central government's basic principles and policies for handling Hong Kong's Taiwan-related issues. We firmly support the deterrence of "Taiwan independence" and the legitimate actions of the DPP authorities from interfering in Hong Kong affairs.

The relevant remarks of the DPP authorities indicate that their chaotic Hong Kong plots for "independence" have not changed their inferiority, and they have no reflection on the crimes of meddling in Hong Kong affairs and supporting underworld forces. On the contrary, the thieves call for the capture of the thieves and rashly accuse the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government of its legitimate actions.

Especially in the current anti-epidemic background, the DPP authorities continue to suppress dissidents, suppress speech, and manipulate politics for their own political interests, regardless of the lives and health of the people on the island.

We are telling the DPP authorities to immediately withdraw the black hands that undermine Hong Kong's prosperity and stability and intervene in Hong Kong affairs, or they will be severely punished.
