The crime took place between December 2020 and April this year.
The older man went to a sex site and responded to some ads from women.
These were posted by the 35-year-old who contacted the older man and claimed to be the girls' fathers.
The 35-year-old then managed to force just over a million kronor.
The older man was threatened with being hanged as a pedophile, by having a picture collage of him put up in his immediate area.
There were also threats that the person he would get holes drilled in his legs.
The investigation shows that some of the money went to various gambling companies, which may be due to the perpetrator being a gambling addict. He has previously been convicted of other crimes.
