After more than a year and a half of the Covid-19 crisis, Paris hospitals are recruiting 4,000 people, a campaign that begins on Monday to mainly fill positions for nurses and nursing assistants, but also technicians and caregivers. researchers.

The goal is in particular to put an end to the jobs in tension which lack personnel.

With more than 90,000 employees, it is already the largest employer in the Paris region.

The AP-HP, public assistance - hospitals of Paris, however launches a vast recruitment campaign this Monday, June 21: 4,000 positions to be filled, in particular to replace retirements, but not only.

In this way, 2,000 nurses will be hired, 900 nursing assistants as well as technicians.

The current workforce in these professions is not sufficient, an even more glaring shortage after 18 months of health crisis.

The objective is therefore to return to the levels of 2018, which have since decreased.

If such a recruitment campaign is not unprecedented, it nevertheless marks by its scope and the desire to also open it to professions not only related to care, but also to medical research.

Another novelty is the media coverage of this campaign.

The AP-HP wants all its offers to be filled, and to achieve this it will thus broadcast advertisements, not only in the Paris region, but also throughout the country.
