June 20, 2021 Brian Minthe remains in prison, one of the four of the pack accused of the death of Desiree Mariottini, sentenced yesterday to 24 and a half years but for which the Court of Assizes had ordered the release for drug charges.

The man was, in fact, notified in these hours a new precautionary order for the accusation of murder of the minor from Cisterna di Latina, found before life in an abandoned building in October 2018.

Danger of escape, reads the three-page provision, "also in order to avoid the execution of the sentence as he did immediately at the time of Desirée Mariottini's death". In the order, notified by the Mobile Squad of the Rome Police Headquarters last night at the Regina Coeli prison, it is also reported that Minthe "showed no signs of resipiscence" and given that he does not have a home, "less burdensome measures would not be practicable" than prison.

Two life sentences and a 27-year sentence were also inflicted yesterday on the other defendants, all African citizens, for this incident.
