“We saw that the Iranian Interior Minister declared Ibrahim Raisi the winner of the elections in Iran,” a US official said.
Earlier it became known that the head of the country's judiciary, Ibrahim Raisi, won the presidential elections.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin congratulated Raisi on her election victory.
