UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan were among the first to congratulate Raisi on winning the presidential elections in Iran.

They wished that "bilateral relations develop steadily and prosper."

It is noted that the authorities of Kuwait and Qatar also sent their congratulations to Raisi.

Sultan of Oman, Haisam bin Tarek Al Said, wished him and the people of the Islamic Republic "further development and prosperity", and also expressed hope for "continued cooperation in various fields in the interests of the peoples of both countries."

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin congratulated Ibrahim Raisi on his victory in the presidential elections in Iran.
