“You rarely hear songs here, and any song seems bright and beautiful,” Islam Yakhshibaev, head of the surgical department of the special purpose medical unit, told RIA Novosti.
Serviceman Zakhar Glushakov stressed that such performances brighten up military service away from home.
“I would like to have such concerts more often,” said the military man.
It is noted that musicians from the Southern Military District also performed for the military at the logistics center of the Russian Navy in Tartus.
Earlier, People's Artist of Russia Alexander Rosenbaum performed at the Khmeimim airbase.
