Xie Hongxing, male, Han nationality, was born in May 1958 in Qi County, Henan Province. He started working in May 1974 and joined the Communist Party of China in December 1977. He has a postgraduate degree.
From March 1980 to November 1993, he served successively as Section Chief of the Second Section of Zhengzhou Public Security Bureau, Deputy Chief of the Technical Investigation Division, Deputy Chief of the Economic Case Investigation Division, Divisional Discipline Inspector of the Discipline Inspection Unit, and Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of the People's Procuratorate of Zhengzhou City;
