As it turned out in the course of the survey, 94% of respondents would like to go to the sea, while 64.4% noted that they are considering foreign destinations for this, and 35.6% - Russian.

So, the most attractive among the Russian proposals, the respondents consider the beaches of the Crimea (34.6%).

Yalta, Sudak, Alushta and Alupka are very popular in this category.

The second place in the list of places where Russians would like to spend their vacations were the coasts of the Krasnodar Territory (31.7%) - Sochi, Adler, Gelendzhik and Anapa.

The rating also includes the North Caucasus with 5.7% and the Kaliningrad region with 3.8% of the vote.

Speaking about overseas resorts, the Russians singled out trips to Cyprus and Greece for themselves - these directions gained 14.7% of the votes each.

In turn, Montenegro attracts 10.2% of tourists, Egypt - 8%, Abkhazia - 6.2%, and Turkey - 5.8%.

Survey participants also frequently mentioned Croatia (4.9%), Cuba and Mexico (4.4% each), Maldives (3.5%), UAE and Albania (2.6% each).

As noted in OneTwoTrip, 3470 people took part in the study.

Earlier it became known that at the beginning of summer, the demand for travel around the country increased by 25% compared to the same period in 2020.

According to experts, at present, domestic tourism has practically recovered from the consequences of the pandemic, and by the end of 2021 it may exceed pre-crisis values.
