The judge on duty in Alzira (Valencia) has decreed provisional prison, communicated and without bail for David SO, arrested for

the death of the 19-year-old girl who disappeared in the town of Carcaixent

in 2019,

Wafaa Sebbah.

The head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 5, acting as guard, has agreed to this measure this afternoon, an hour after the detainee arrived at judicial offices.

David SO, who

has availed himself of his right not to testify in court,

is considered the alleged perpetrator of the death of the young woman who disappeared in Carcaixent in November 2019 and whose body was found last Thursday inside the well of a rural farm of the town, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV).

He is being investigated for

a crime of homicide, without prejudice to further qualification,

and the case will continue to be processed by the person in charge of the Court of First Instance and Instruction 4 of Alzira, who had previously investigated these facts.

David SO, the confessed perpetrator of the murder of Wafaa Sebbah, has passed to the disposition of Court number 5 of Alzira at 1:40 p.m., and approximately one hour later has left these premises.

The UCO agents participating in the investigation have taken the detainee to court in a Civil Guard vehicle, escorted by two other vehicles, and have remained at the door of the courthouse until their departure.
