Oman imposes partial ban to combat Corona

The Supreme Committee to combat the Covid-19 virus in the Sultanate of Oman issued a decision banning the movement of individuals and vehicles and closing all public places and commercial activities, “while allowing home delivery” from 8 pm until 4 am, starting from the evening of Sunday, June 20, until further notice.

This excludes activities and categories that were announced in previous closures.

According to the Omani News Agency, the Supreme Committee confirmed that all health sector institutions, led by the Ministry of Health, are continuing to implement the national plan for immunization against the Covid 19 virus, and it calls on all those targeted for the initiative to immunize to protect themselves, members of their families and their community from contracting the disease.

The committee expressed its astonishment at the continued establishment of gatherings for various occasions, praising at the same time the commitment shown in general by members of society and various institutions to the precautionary controls that have been adopted to avoid infection and spread of this disease, and confirms that the relevant authorities continue to take the approved measures in this regard.
