Rep. Jeong Jin-seok of People's Power called for concessions to Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People's Party, saying, "The name of the People's Power cannot be changed."

In a post on social media, Rep. Jeong, who is the most elected member of the party, said, "It is impossible to change the name of the party casually and easily just because it is important to join forces with the People's Party."

Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the People's Party, asked for a change of party name in the process of discussing the merger, and he drew the line as a leader of the people's power.

It can also be interpreted as a means of empowering Representative Lee Jun-seok, the people's power who adheres to the principle of 'no change of party name'.

Rep. Jeong said, "The power of the people cannot allow any exogenous changes to the party's name." He said, "I hope that Chairman Ahn will make concessions this time."

He also added, "I have the impression that I am obsessed with unreasonable flirting without flexibility," adding, "It does not help at all for CEO Ahn, who has a long road ahead."

Rep. Jung's post received more than 170 likes within 5 hours of posting, including the names of fellow lawmakers such as Lee Jun-seok, floor spokesperson Jeon Joo-hye, and Kim Byeong-wook Ji Seong-ho.

On the other hand, Supreme Councilor Jo Su-jin made an opinion through SNS, saying, "There is only one difference between the People's Power and the People's Party. It's reasonable, it's not difficult."

Based on personal opinion, "The People's Power Party has nothing to do with it. The party name issue will not be an obstacle at all.”

To Lee, he said, "Now is the time to look into what we talked about when we were candidates," he said. "We can boldly discuss things that are realistic in detail, and fold away the parts that are less realistic."
