“According to the operational data of FBU Avialesokhrana, 37 wildfires operate on the territory of the republic on a total area of 25,950.6 hectares.
During the day, there were six wildfires on a total area of 189.5 hectares, three wildfires were liquidated on a total area of 7 hectares, ”TASS reports.
It is noted that "1.1 thousand people and 100 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing wildfires."
Earlier it was reported that more than 2.7 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to the regions to fight forest fires.
The corresponding order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
