The judgment of the Constitutional Court was final.

The Court considers that the petition brought by the deposed governor of Tanganyika, Zoé Kabila, is unfounded.

The latter did not accept

his dismissal

by the provincial assembly in early May.

Accused of mismanagement and incompetence, Zoé Kabila did not appear at the plenary convened to examine her possible departure.

And he had pretended to be in Kinshasa, awaiting an audience with the President of the Republic.

But according to the prosecutor, Zoé Kabila has produced no proof of his presence in the capital.

Motion of no confidence against his team

In addition, he could have been represented at this plenary, said the prosecutor.

The motion of no confidence concerned his team and not just the governor's person.

13 provincial representatives out of 25 in the Tanganyika provincial assembly voted for the departure of the team at the head of the province.
