June 19, 2021 In Briandate, in the Novara area, a new garrison of workers of all companies in the logistics center is underway the day after the death of Adil Belakhdim, the 37-year-old Cobas trade unionist. At 1430 in Rome he will be remembered at the Si Cobas demonstration in Piazza della Repubblica. He

spent the night in prison Alessio Spaziano, the 26-year-old truck driver who yesterday morning hit and killed the trade unionist Adil Belakhdim, 37, in front of the gates of the warehouse in the chain area of Lidl supermarkets in Biandrate in the Novara area. The man, who after having overwhelmed the trade unionist had first fled and after a few minutes voluntarily surrendered himself to the police, is currently accused of road murder, failure to rescue and resisting a public official.

His position is being examined by the magistrates coordinated by the prosecutor on duty Paolo Verri. The young truck driver, originally from Dragoni, in the Caserta area, lives in Caserta with his partner and a small child. As Lidl Italia pointed out yesterday, he is not an employee of the supermarket chain, but an external supplier. Spaziano will be heard by the magistrates during the hearing to validate the arrest, which should take place in the next few hours.
