A month after entering the government, the son of Congolese President Denis Sassou-Nguesso in the midst of ministerial action.

Denis Christel Sassou-Nguesso spoke this Friday, June 18 on one of the major issues of his ministerial portfolio: the promotion of public-private partnership.

On the occasion of a “first

 contact 

” with economic players, Denis Chrsitel Sassou-Nguesso called on national and foreign operators to diversify their investments in the country which remains largely dependent on oil. 

Cooperation and partnership will be at the heart of our commitment,"

said the Minister of International Cooperation and the Promotion of Public-Private Partnership.

 I now invite you to go further in your investments, by diversifying your activities.

And it is clear, today, that public-private partnerships are essential, not only in the context of the performance of our public administration, but also and above all to strongly contribute to making our economy much more resilient, because our imbalances macroeconomics demand that we now do otherwise.

 "

Protect investors

In return, the minister and son of the president promises to work to protect all investments.

Our priority is to establish a legal framework relating to the public-private partnership market, to assure and reassure investors, while protecting their investments.

 "

Through the action of the Ministry of @CooperationCG, we will support the actors of the national private sector by involving them in public-private partnerships for which they will have the required qualifications.
