A small wild boar cub crosses the sea on a train alone in Hong Kong.

According to local media such as the Hong Kong Animal Protection Organization and the South China Morning Post (SCMP), a young wild boar entered Quarry Bay Railway Station on Hong Kong Island around 4 pm yesterday (18th) and got on the train.

Next, the wild boar 'transferred' from the nearby North Point Station to the Jeonggwano Line train that crosses the sea to the Kowloon Peninsula.

The wild boar kept running away from the officials of the wild boar protection group who went out after receiving a report from the citizens, but was eventually caught at the train stop, the garage, and released to a nearby park.

In a video posted on a Facebook account by a conservation group, the wild boar sprinted to and fro in the train, avoiding anyone trying to catch him.

When people were not approaching, they even took a break in the 'priority seat' of the trains reserved for the elderly and infirm.

The Hong Kong Boar Conservation Group said, "This incident did not cause any adverse effects on the young animals and we hope that the mother can be found again."
