Earlier it was reported that the UN General Assembly has appointed Antonio Guterres as UN Secretary General for a second term.
He will hold this post until 2026 inclusive.
It was also reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Guterres on his re-election to the post of UN Secretary General.
