The decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters, said the adviser to the head of the region, Oleg Kryuchkov.
"An emergency situation on a regional scale was introduced in Feodosia, Kirovsky district, Yalta," RIA Novosti quotes him.
Earlier it was reported that eight people were injured in Yalta due to flooding.
One person died.
The Black Sea Fleet reported that units of the Black Sea Fleet with heavy equipment and off-road vehicles would be sent to the city to provide assistance in connection with flooding.
