The anti-crime brigade had a particularly agitated start to the evening on Thursday in Rennes.
They were first called a little before 8 p.m. for a young woman who threatened to kill herself by jumping into the void on the stairs of the station.
Taking advantage of a moment of inattention on the part of the young woman, the agents succeeded in surrounding her and putting her out of danger.
Very annoyed, the latter was transported to the University Hospital of Pontchaillou by the firefighters, accompanied for the occasion by the police.
As soon as they arrived in front of the emergency room, hospital staff informed them of the presence of a 20-year-old young man who was very agitated and was carrying a knife.
The police threatening to use a tusk bullet launcher and an electric pulse pistol, the young man finally threw his weapon on the ground before being arrested.
It was handed over to nursing staff to be hospitalized in a psychiatric unit.
