China News Service, Jiuquan, June 17th, title: "Shenzhou" to "Tiangong" again

China News Agency reporter Guo Chaokai

In the middle of summer, in the depths of the Badain Jaran Desert, China's spaceflight once again set off into space.

On June 17, three astronauts set off for space expedition from the manned space launch site of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

In the small Gobi town known as the "Cradle of Shenzhou" in Dongfeng Aerospace City, the Long March 2 F rocket lifted the Shenzhou 12 spacecraft through the sky.

This is the first time the Shenzhou manned spacecraft takes off again after 5 years.

At 6 o'clock in the morning, three astronauts led the expedition, the Shenzhou spacecraft ran from Jiuquan to space at 9:22, and completed the rapid rendezvous and docking with the Tianhe core module at 15:54... Looking at the timetable, every step of the mission was Walk in an orderly and steady manner.

The desert, the sky and the launch tower together constitute a scene that people are familiar with.

The difference is that this time the three astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, and Tang Hongbo will become the first "residents" of China's Tiangong Space Station.

  Then "Shenzhou" to "Tiangong".

The "God Twelve" trio not only went to outer space to "take a look" and "stay for a few days", but to "walk" and "live in March."

The three astronauts will stay in orbit on the space station for three months, realizing the feat of the Chinese trying to stay in space for a long time.

In order to build its own "space home", China has successively launched the Tiangong-1 target aircraft and the Tiangong-2 space laboratory to accumulate technology and experience for the construction of the space station.

With Tiangong-1 and Tiangong-2's "Jade in front", China has more ingenuity in designing the Tiangong space station. For example, the space in the cabin has increased from 15 cubic meters in Tiangong-1 to 110 cubic meters in the whole station. The "tube room" moved into the "large flat floor"; functional partitions ensure "privacy" and "convenience"; "3 rooms and 1 bathroom" are equipped to ensure freedom of sleep; astronauts can also "talk privately" with their family members to realize world-to-earth calls and enjoy the whole world Smart home and WiFi coverage...

In fact, since ancient times, human beings have been full of curiosity about the vast sky, and the Chinese are no exception.

"Kuafu chasing the sun", "ten thousand families flying to the sky", "Chang'e flying to the moon"... These beautiful and moving myths and legends all make people fascinated by the world outside the earth.

Nowadays, dreams shine into reality, flying dreams come true, and staying in space for a long time is no longer far away.

For this day, China has walked for nearly 30 years.

In September 1992, China's manned space project was officially launched.

Up to now, China has launched 12 Shenzhou spacecraft, sending 12 astronauts a total of 17 people into space.

In the past 29 years, from unmanned flight to manned flight, China's manned space industry has grown from scratch, and has overcome difficulties by self-reliance.

From one person a day to multiple people for multiple days, from in-vehicle experiments to space walks, from short-term stays to mid-term stays, Chinese astronauts have successively mastered key technologies such as space round trip, space exit, rendezvous and docking, using 12 battles and 12 victory The impressive record of the space station paved a safe and reliable road for the construction of the space station.

People have remembered many names: Yang Liwei, the first person to fly into space in China, Zhai Zhigang, the first person out of space, Liu Yang, the first female flying astronaut, Jing Haipeng and Nie Haisheng, three-time flying astronauts...Shenzhou The names of star aircraft such as, Tiangong and Tianzhou are also well-known.

At the moment, the blueprint for the construction of China's space station has already been drawn: 11 missions will be completed this year and next to complete the construction of the space station in orbit.

It will not be a dream for Chinese and foreign astronauts to travel together in the "Tiangong" in the future. The era of chasing the dream space station has already begun.
