She urged families to double oversight over children during the vacation period, calling not to be distracted by them and protecting young people from the dangers of extortion and abuse via the Internet, social networking and electronic games, such as cases of bullying, threats and harassment, and luring young people to share their photos and data and implicating them in immoral activities.

The police called on society to be vigilant in dealing with the websites of these electronic games, which are popular with children and adolescents, and may drain more funds to complete the stages of these games, which puts pressure on parents, in addition to the danger that these sites often access bank card information.

She stressed the need not to deal with fake and untrustworthy electronic stores that may lure customers into fraud by stealing their money through their bank cards or bank accounts.
