A 36-year-old man died of his injuries and a man in his 60s was seriously injured in connection with the incident in Skoghall on Tuesday evening.
A 35-year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards and arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
"Posed a threat"
Now he admits the murder.
-I do not want to go into too much detail.
But the deceased person and my client are not known, my client knows him.
He has experienced that the dead have posed some kind of threat, but the motive is not so clear at the moment.
He has quite large memory gaps of the course of events, especially with regard to the attempted murder, says the arrested man's lawyer Lena Rebane.
- He has a memory image that he has used a knife on the person who has died.
An arrest hearing will probably be held on Friday.
