“Now the number of patients in the older age group and their unfavorable outcomes are significantly lower than in the previous period,” Murashko said during a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for Combating COVID-19.
He added that the focus on vaccinating patients over 60 years of age "had an effect."
Earlier, Murashko said that the incidence of coronavirus infection in the country increased by 30% in a week.
