Ukraine, beaten by the Netherlands for its entry into the Euro, revived by beating 2-1 a team from North Macedonia catchy but almost eliminated in Group C, Thursday in Bucharest.

After resisting for half an hour, the Macedonian team ended up imploding under the blows of the Ukrainians.

Captain Yarmolenko, after stumbling over Dimitrievski, tore off a deflection to score by crossing the shot (29).

Five minutes later, Yaremchuk, well served by the same Yarmolenko, made the break with an unstoppable shot at ground level (34).

The Macedonians reduced the mark on one of the rare forays in front of the Ukrainian goal, Alioski scoring in force, after seeing his penalty rejected by Bushchan (57).

Malinovskyi had the ball 3-1 but his penalty was superbly stopped by North Macedonian goalkeeper Dimitrievski (84).

At the end of the day, the Netherlands face Austria in Amsterdam for first place in the group (9:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. GMT).
