It has been confirmed that the Democratic Party is discussing a plan to recruit former KBS producer Suh Su-min, who directed 'Gag Concert', to the presidential campaign.

Rep. Kim Young-ho, the head of the party's chief of staff, exchanged text messages with another member of the same party, Kim Won, at the main assembly hall of the National Assembly today (17th), which was captured by a reporter's camera.

Rep. Kim Won said, "Have you met the person who agreed to meet as the general director of the election planning team. I'm going to meet with Gacon PD Seo Su-min after being recommended."

Then, Rep. Kim Young-ho replied, "I only spoke on the phone (with the person I decided to meet)," and "I'll try to meet him when the manager is decided."

When Rep. Kim Won asked, "Isn't it necessary to have such a person as the leader?" Rep. Kim Young-ho replied, "I think the leader will decide between the former and current members."

PD Seo Su-min also received an offer to become a secretarial secretary at the Blue House in 2019, but he turned it down.

Rep. Kim Young-ho said, "It's an idea and nothing has been decided" when reporters asked for confirmation.

A party official also said, "I have never contacted PD Seo at the party leadership level, and I know that lawmakers are talking about it as an idea."
