• Sports Jorge Lorenzo retires: the bad relationship with his father, a fortune in Switzerland and other controversies

Jorge Lorenzo has been one of the best drivers in our country, but years ago he took a step back and left the demands of that competition to

live a more normal life.

In an interview with Francisco Rivera for his section in

Public Mirror,

the motorcyclist spoke about his beginnings in the world of motorcycles, the role his father played in his career and why he decided to leave the competition.

Regarding the reason why he competed and the reason that led him to leave, Jorge has recognized that more than running he

liked to win

. "I

miss winning.

I've always been very competitive, since I was little. What I liked was winning, rather than riding a motorcycle", something that has made his adaptation to life outside of competition much more bearable than expected. "I handle it quite well.

I am happier than when I ran because I am a very perfectionist

and when I do something I do it a thousand times. I was all day thinking about how to be better, turning the jar."

On how he got to the motorcycles, Lorenzo has assured that it

was all because of his father

, whom he has called

"a kind of Hitler",

an expression that has revolutionized the networks.

"My father was the one who got me into this world because it was his passion. He built me a motorcycle when I was 3 years old and

my first race was when I was 3 years old. He

was like a sergeant, like a kind of Hitler. He

taught me many values such as discipline. or that nothing happens by luck, but by work ".
