From January to May this year, 114,000 cases of telecommunications network fraud were cracked across the country

　　Liu Zhongyi, director of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, revealed at the meeting that from January to May this year, 114,000 cases of telecommunications network fraud were cracked across the country, more than 14,000 criminal gangs were destroyed, and 154,000 criminal suspects were arrested, up from the same period last year. 60.4%, 80.6% and 146.5%.

Successfully discouraged 7.71 million people from being deceived, and recovered 99.1 billion yuan in economic losses for the people.

In May of this year, there were 84,600 cases of telecommunications network fraud across the country, a 14.3% decrease compared with April. The continued high incidence of cases has been curbed to a certain extent.
